- Enforcement of compulsory wearing of helmet and not allowing triple riding in the Agartala city.
- Spreading Road Safety awareness regularly by using PA system.
- Awareness on use of seat belt while driving.
- Awareness on road safety in the Schools, Colleges and at various junctions in Agartala City.
- Awareness and enforcement on Meter Auto along with Transport Department.
- Better Traffic management and monitoring through Integrated Command & Control Centre under Agartala Smart City Limited.
- Extensive use of the smart components like RLVD cameras, body worn cameras, e-challan machine, speed radar, wheel jammer, breath analyzer, retro- reflective light bar etc. for Traffic regulation and enforcement.
- Extensive use of interceptor vehicles for speed violation and helmetless riding.
- Effective use of Body Worn Cameras for evidence based policing.
- Road marking to help the commuters.
- Integration of ITMS (Intelligent Traffic Management System) with RLVD cameras for auto generating of e-challan and notices.
- Virtual Court for enabling online payment of Traffic fines by the citizens in traffic e-challan cases.
- UPI (unified payment interface) payment system in EPOS machine for violation of M.V Act.
- E-challan notices through WhatsApp apart from Short Messages Services.
- Procuring of more road safety equipment under Road Safety fund.
- Use of social media like face book and twitter account for publicity and collection of traffic information violations.
- Zero tolerance against traffic violation at following inter sections: Secretariat, North Gate, IGM Chowmahani and Lions Gate.
